I am a Deaf Studies major at Ohlone College. I have many years of sign language experience, and am capable of assisting students of all levels, from beginners to those at a more competent level. I believe that Sign Language requires an extremely hands on learning experience. I was recently in a 4 year college down in Pomona, CA for a quarter, Cal Poly Pomona, and in a couple of years I will be transferring Cal Poly SLO. Itaught two different schools for the Deaf, one in Maine and one in Fremont, CA for 46 years. Then I was an Americn Sign Language teacher at Delta College in the year of 2011. Last year, I was a full time ASL teacher at the Valley Christian High School in Dublin. And now I am an ASL teacher at Los Medanos College in Brentwood. I am very experienced with ASL as I am Deaf but can speak and read lips very well. Teaching has always been my passion and I enjoy working with people of all ages very much.
