Experience Summary

I started my teaching experience when I got a job as a subsitute teacher at school for the Deaf in Ontario, Canada. I loved it so much and I went to university to get my degree in Criminology and Sociology and got masters in Deaf Education and Recreation. I used to be a subsitute teacher at Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D.C. and got a job as a teacher at Maryland School for the Deaf. I moved here 7 years ago and work here at California School for the Deaf as a teacher. ASL Teaching experience: I taught ASL at McDaniel College for a semester. I started to teach ASL at Ohlone College (high school course) for 3 years and Stanford University for a year, and College of San Mateo. ASL I and II. Also, I have been doing a lot of tutor sessions for individuals who are taking ASL III or higher and Interpreter Preparation Program.
