I have taught reading for the last 17 years to struggling readers in a public school. The students that I teach have shown improvement in reading and writing on the state achievement test for the last 10 years. My comments on tutoring Special Education : Seven years of teaching experience in kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms teaching students with special education needs.

For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. I was a teaching assistant my first year and I have been teaching for the last three years all content areas and subjects for grades 5-8.
