For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. I was a teaching assistant my first year and I have been teaching for the last three years all content areas and subjects for grades 5-8. As a Michigan resident, I was unable to find sny substantial work in the fiels of Social Work once I earned my BA degree. So, I worked in 3-4 school districts over a two year period before gaining full time work with the State.
