I started my education with business management and accounting. As I got further in to my coursework, I realized there was more to business than balancing the checkbook and counting inventory. I started to learn about preparing taxes midway through college and realized that not only did like doing taxes, I also enjoyed helping people. As my knowledge of taxation, from the federal down to municipal level, increased I found myself in a position teaching others to become tax preparers. I enjoyed that experience so much because teaching the topics helped me to understand them better myself. When I was attending Regis University, I started majoring in English and minoring in Education. I student taught and tutored two days out of the week for four hours for two and a half consecutive semesters. I absolutely enjoyed working with the students, it was the teachers that had me hang up my hat in that field.
