This is my eighth year of teaching. I have taught grades K-5 special education in the subjects of reading,writing and math. I currently teach a modified curriculum level one class in Immokalee. This is my second year of teaching in the state of Florida. Last year I taught in an Inclusion setting in the grades of K and 1. In the state of NC I uses the Wilson Reading Program to teach phonics. My comments on tutoring Special Education : I have a Bachelors (BA) degree in Child Education with my Masters degree (MA) in Special Needs Education. For the past three years I have worked as an SEN teacher working with both Autistic and Epileptic people both in school and and as a private tutor / carer in their homes.
