Currently I run the Spanish Club at Gulf Coast Charter Academy since they opened two years ago for kinder to middle students. I teach individual or small group language classes only for children. I am originally from Venezuela. As a Spanish native speaker, I have emphasized the importance of early second language immersion for young children. Also, learning Spanish from a native speaking teacher is the ideal way to learn the language with appropriate pronunciation and provide the opportunity to learn a different culture as well. Education is essential for the mind to grow.

I have helped people with their English-speaking skills off and on and am very skilled in spelling and grammar. I've been learning Japanese for going on three years, as well. I'm aware that it's not a particularly high in-demand language to learn, but I am more than willing to aid in learning it if it is desired. Also, having graduated high school, I have enough knowledge to teach kids about the basics of science, math, and English.
On the whole, I look for a rather creative approach when it comes to learning and studying. I ask that students be skeptical in all they hear and read, so asking questions as a form of studying will be essential. Just reading a book or looking at flash cards for studying purposes can prove to be tedious and ineffective. And putting what's learned in context is always necessary if the subject calls for any everyday application.
