Have taught piano, PE, substitute in all areas and levels of elementary education. I have served as an organizer of events like the welcome and hosting of the world famoous African Children's Choir to Tucson, other musical groups as well, lead a mission project of supporting and funding Hope Schoool in Madagascar, where children from the streets are welcomed into a safe, educational environment ...every one in the past decade has been a success and moved into the regular school system.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is simple. I apply real-world applications to each subject helping each student find that connection for better understanding. Making the learning experience fun helping my students retain the information that is learned.
I have been providing tutoring and music lessons for 20 years. I studied French Horn on full scholarship at the University of Arizona. I have been playing music professionally (getting paid ;-) since I was 18. I play just about every wind instrument know to man. I have been working professionally in the health care field since 1996. I earned my bachelor's in Health Promotion in 2004 with a 4.0 GPA. I have been volunteering at my children's school for 7 years, coaching chess and soccer. I teach mathematical High School Placement Testing classes.

A Little Bit About Me...

With over 35 years of work experience, 20 years of volunteering to children and their parents, a BA in education and a MA in management, my experiences are diverse and have allowed me to utilize and grow my skills and gifts. I believe in life-long learning and empowering others to accomplish their goals. I have a sense or ingrained need to be dedicated to something outside of myself. Helping others, especially as it relates to either children or people who, for whatever circumstance, have had to endure hardship, misunderstanding or injustice. My dedication is to help empower others.
As a trainer and coach, I work with diverse groups (age, background, education, etc.) and utilize varied styles to meet the needs of the participants.
