A Little Bit About Me...

My approach to teaching is that all children can learn given opportunities in a "safe" environment. I taught many students with learning challenges and I had to individualize their program. I used multiple intelligences to help students learn using their strengths to help them with their weaknesses. It made learning more fun and easier for them to grasp.
I graduated with a BA in French and Elementary Education and taught for 4 years in multi-age classrooms. Then I tutored while I stayed home with my children. I resumed teaching 1995 and earned an MAT in Elementary Education in 1998. A Little Bit About Me...

One of my many passions in life is working with kids, specifically tutoring them. I have found that it is easier to tutor a student when they know that they are surrounded by positivity. With this I am referring to the feeling of comfort and knowing that it's ok to be wrong. I notice more confidence in my students when I establish a friendship with them.
