Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I personally, have taught many people the basics of guitar and gave them the tools to excel in music.

I love teaching & sharing new experiences in a creative way!

I was a natural born musician, started playing guitar at the age of 2. Later switched to piano and took formal lessons for 7 years. I have composed scores for several plays and small projects. I still compose music to this day. I gained an interest in French when I was in middle school. An in-depth education in Music Composition.

Since earning my Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah in Music Composition I have produced a Christmas album of piano arrangements, and original songs. I prefer sitting at the student's elbow, with the assigned work in between us, focusing on it together. I talk about "it" rather than "you" to avoid making the student self-conscious. Writing can always be improved, and each student has areas of strength and weakness. I try to pick one area that needs the most attention, and focus on it. When there is significant improvement, I move on to the next area of weakness. Pointing out all of a student's mistakes and weaknesses at once drains morale, and that is counterproductive. Working on one area at a time keeps the student from being overwhelmed. I like to have the student read out loud to me, so that we can both see what needs improvement.
