All children are unique in their own way. They each have different learning styles. I am a very patient person. I strive to help each child succeed in every aspect of their education. There are students that need to see things written down and I am able to do that. What ever their learning style may be I am capable to adapt to it. With patience comes care and want for each student to reach success. Making a difference in each students life will make a difference in mine.
I am currently enrolled at Charleston Southern University. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. Taking these classes has helped me understand students and their different learning needs so much more. A Little Bit About Me...

As a successful learner, I studied education in college. I graduated in four years with a 4.0 grade point average in the Education Department. I student-taught in a first grade classroom at Springfield Elementary School. The following school year, I was hired at Springfield as a Kindergarten teacher. I develop lesson plans for all subject areas with a strong focus in reading and phonics. I feel that a strong knowledge of phonics allows for the students to successfully read independently. The students in my classroom learn phonics through personal experiences and games! I enjoy my profession deeply and would not trade it for anything!

A Little Bit About Me...

I am very easy to communicate with and I am very outgoing. I firmly believe that anyone can make music if they understand that it requires some practice and some desire to learn. I love seeing a child's face light up when they learn how to play a piece of music or make a sound on an instrument; it is a phenomenal feeling.
