I try to reach every child through teaching to all learning styles and stimulating both sides of the brain. I have many years of classroom experience ranging from Second Grade up to Fifth Grade. I am a certified teacher and recently have completed training specializing in reading and phonics. Laying a solid foundation in phonemic awareness is essential in allowing a student to be a successful reader and writer. It effects fluency and comprehension.
