I believe that you meet students where they are. I strive to individualize each lesson to what the student or group needs, not just a grammar lesson that’s on the next page. I have always focused on teaching practical communication skills in Spanish, including useful vocabulary and phrases. I love using digital resources such as online news, music and more!

I want you to be successful in learning!

My teaching style is mainly dependant on the person that I am tutoring. If a student needs to take a slower process to learn than I am adaptable to that. The same is true for someone who has a little faster pace. I am flexible.
I have experience with teaching adults how to read at my local literacy organization. Also, I have tutored children with Reading and Math. I have found that reward goes much farther than ridicule or punishment when motivating a student to believe in themselves, and thus excel. I also teach the importance of information.
