Experience Summary
I have experience with teaching adults how to read at my local literacy organization. Also, I have tutored children with Reading and Math. I was a substitute teacher for students from Pre Kindergarten through High School with different subjects and disciplines. I can freely tutor others because of the experiences that I have had while earning my degrees. Helping others learn is a passion of mine.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is mainly dependant on the person that I am tutoring. If a student needs to take a slower process to learn than I am adaptable to that. The same is true for someone who has a little faster pace. I am flexible.
My Hobbies
I love to read, sightsee and watch educational television and westerns.
Other Comments
I am easy to get along with and caring. However, I am not a quitter. I will try different learning styles and persevere. I expect the person that I am tutoring to be genuinely interested in learning and doing their best.
