I allow my teaching style to mold itself to each individual student, finding methods of communicating the information that best suit the learning style of my student. When I first meet with a student I let them tell me what they know. In their own words about the unit or subject they are currently having trouble with. If I know how the instructor teaches the lesson I try to duplicate it. The child is already having a hard time and I don’t want to compound the complicated by teaching a different way.
