I am a graduate of Tennessee Temple University, with experience tutoring at Tennessee Temple University, as well as University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, in various topics, including biodiversity, mathematics (up to pre-calculus), history, and American Sign Language. When I first meet with a student I let them tell me what they know. In their own words about the unit or subject they are currently having trouble with. If I know how the instructor teaches the lesson I try to duplicate it. The child is already having a hard time and I don’t want to compound the complicated by teaching a different way. I thoroughly enjoy teaching all ages, and because of my wide variety of experiences, I am able to keep the learning activities varied, relevant, and interesting.
