How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. That led to my doing teaching seminars, which led to consulting, which led to training, which led to my working with individuals as a life coach. After graduating from Binghamton University, I worked for a short time as a bookkeeper. Then I worked for New York State for 25 years in the fields of auditing, internal auditing, and accounting. I performed a variety of duties while working as an accountant including supervising staff. As an internal auditor I the day-to- day operations of an internal audit unit. I have also been a self-employed professional income tax preparer of the past 23 years.
