A Little Bit About Me...

I attended college at three different schools, on athletic scholarship in two of them. I earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Philosophy and BA in Political Science. After graduating I spent one semester teaching sciences at an outdoor based alternative middle and elementary school just outside of Austin, TX. In college and afterwards I have continued to be involved in issues regarding immigration and minorities. I spent one year living and working in the Central Andes in Peru. Each child is different. A good teacher helps each student meet their expectations while keeping the child interested in the subject matter. Each day my goal is the same, to get the most out of my students, and this can only be done when they are attentive and motivated. I gained my BA in History only after years of serious and devoted study, and I bring a respect for whatever subject I teach to the classroom.
