Over the past twelve years I have taught a range of subjects including basic Math and English to students with a range of learning difficulties, including dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism. During the past two academic years I have tutored Math and Biology at a local private high school and have really enjoyed the experience. I have gained a bachelor degree in Mathematical science which involved studying two years of Biology and have a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology. I think it works well to give shorter lessons to a small group, and then work individually with the students. I like to encourage them to help one another if they feel confident in the subject. I pay great attention to verifying that each student is following the lesson. My main teaching style is "I do, you do," meaning I show them how to do a problem, or spell a word, and then they show me how.
