I have 20 years of Finance, Information Systems and Engineering experience. I firmly believe teaching requires structure. In that regard, the learning process requires a sequences of steps. Firstly, the student must understand the problem to be solved or the skill to be acquired. Secondly, examples are required to show how to approach and solve a prolem. Lastly, overarching concepts can be introduced to unitfy that which is new with that which is already understood. During my years at undergraduate study I tutored mathematics and physics even though most were graduate students. At the same college I was also a laboratory assistant for College Chemistry 1 and 2. A good portion of my other position was working at the Drake Memorial library where I assisted both student and teachers with finding resource materials. At the Worldlife Institute Education center at Waterport, NY I was a voluntary teacher for high school students.
