Teaching Style
My focus is to stimulate the desire and passion to learn which exists in all students. My teaching style focuses on ensuring students walk away with a long term understanding of principles and concepts and the ability to apply these versus just memorization. I focus on interactive discussions to draw out current student roadblocks in understanding and tailor the tutoring sessions based upon a specific student’s needs.
As a mature professional, the tutoring will focus on real world applications as well as academics. As a current adjunct Instructor at Medaille college, I apply the advanced accelerated learning techniques. Listening, understanding, patience,
perseverance, and commitment are key.
