A Little Bit About Me...

Since I remember my days as a student, I am very patient with students who’ve never been exposed to certain subjects or materials. I believe you can only move onto more complex areas after you have gained a thorough understanding of the basics. I prefer to use real-world examples to illustrate abstract concepts. In areas like mathematics and physics, I teach students methods of how to solve problems, not just to come up with the right answer. These methods can then be used in other disciplines or applied to their later lives.
I have a BS in Physics, Magna Cum Laude, and I specialized in astrophysics. As an undergraduate, I tutored mathematics at all levels from beginning algebra to calculus as well as the engineering physics sequence.
