My current teaching style is adaptable to the learning styles of the students that I am teaching. In general, if I am teaching a certain topic, I will first ask students a few questions on the topic in order to identify the level of their familiarity. This enable the student(s) to build on transferable skills as well as recover knowledge stored in memory. After that,I will give an overview of the topic. For example, if my topic is atom, students will be told the word "atom" is associated with elements along with other facts. Next, I would give the students oral/written questions to ascertain their principal learning styles in order to modify my teaching style for optimum learning.
