My teaching style is unique to each student due to the fact that everyone learns in different ways. I do stay consistent in coaching through how to problem solve because I don’t want my students to become dependent upon me. They need to learn how to utilize all resources when studying both independently and in a group setting. At San Juan College I work with students who have struggle with math and most of which lack confidence in their ability to succeed in the subject. I focus on giving reassurance when due yet also being persistent in study habits and it’s a joy to watch the student evolve throughout the semester.

An ongoing aspect of working as a statistician is using clear communication to explain techniques and results in layman's terms. While in New York, I worked for two years as a teacher of Science at a Junior High school in the Bronx. There I was awarded "Rookie-Teacher-of-the-Year." For one year, I also tutored after school to earn extra money. I have also taught in California and Santa Fe, NM. My passion is to be an International speaker on the topics of Metaphysics and Spirituality.
I believe it is best to offer guidance, and allow the student to go through the process of discovery. Things learned independently are much more prized and valuable.
