I have taught poetry in the Fayette and Rome County School Systems to high school students. I graduated from McIntosh High School in Fayette County and studied English and Secondary Education at Berry College. My teaching and classroom management style is very authoritative. I like to set clear and concise classroom rules and expectations. Teachers should take time to set rules in a visible place for students, review them daily, and have consequences when the rules are not followed. However, students will be acknowledged for doing the right thing through classroom recognition or a prize. Students should have a set routine each day.
