I have taught in the public school systems for 40+ years. I retired when I hit the rule of 90, but found that I missed the kids. I then substitute taught in grades k - 12 for another 8 years to keep in contact with my profession. I just start where the questions are and help guide them to where they can find the answers. There is no better feeling than the feeling you get when a student has that light bulb go off and they finally catch on to a concept. I am currently a medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth. Before I started medical school I worked as a tutor for six years with two teenage boys with autism.
