I would very much like to enter the teaching world so that I might share the knowledge that I have acquired over the years. I feel I would be an excellent tutor as I would be very patient and understanding of the challenges for young students. I definitely believe we can and should be teachers for the next generation. I would strive to share my enthusiasm for math and science. As the manager and head chemist of a solid fuels testing laboratory I have many years of experience training both high school and college interns. I acquired a Bachelors of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from the University of MN, Duluth. I also have a broad math and physics background, and have a great enthusiasm for both.

I am currently a medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth. Before I started medical school I worked as a tutor for six years with two teenage boys with autism. Under the six years of my tutoring, both of these "disabled" kids were completely mainstreamed and even taking some AP and challenge classes. I believe that any kid can learn if they are taught in a way that is fun and structured. I tutored these kids in Math, Science, Social Studies and English. I also spent a semester as a Teaching Assistant i
