Experience Summary
I am an experienced and gifted educator and have held several teaching appointments in scientific disciplines. My proficient as an educator is demonstrated by my ability to effectively teach a wide range of subject material, and further reflected by the positive reviews of my former students. In addition, I have experience teaching in a variety of classroom settings, which range from interacting with students on an individual basis during office hours to coordinating and instructing a virtual laboratory course consisting of over 1500 students. Also, my active involvement as a tutor and mentor with high school and undergraduate students allows me to effectively work with students of varying abilities.
Teaching Style
My prior teaching experiences have allowed me to refine my own role as an educator and provided me an opportunity to try and evaluate a variety of teaching methods. My ultimate goal in the classroom is to develop a sense of excitement and curiosity in students so that their yearning for knowledge will compel them to actively pursue answers to their own questions.
