I am an American Sign Language Interpreting major graduating this spring with my degree from an Interpreter Training Program. I will also have my License through the Ohio Department of Education after graduation to interpret in schools grades K-12. I am hearing impaired, deaf in my left ear, and have been taking ASL for ten years since losing my hearing. I have been taking ASL classes for High School and College since losing my hearing in my left ear ten years ago. I enjoy helping individuals learn American Sign Language, and will be graduating with my ASL Interpreting degree this Spring. I have completed all of the ASL Language classes required for my degree.

I have been teaching myself American Sign Language for a little over 2 years. I am fluent, and willing to teach anyone who wants to learn. I don't know anyone who is deaf. I became interested in American Sign Language while watching a TV show on ABC Family called Switched At Birth.
