Experience Summary
As a reading specialist,I provide direct instruction to student (K-8)in Math and Reading on a daily bases. I also provide daily lesson plans used by (k-8) classroom teachers for Reading, Math, Study Skills, and Ohio Achievement Test Preperation. Prior to my current position, I was a classroom teacher for three years and taught as a substitute teacher in various school districtics.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is based on differentiated instruction so that all students attain high levels of learning and success. As a teacher, I motivate student to learn, do, and apply academic standards beyond the classroom, and explore new uncharted territory, students increase their career opportunities and future personal success greatly. In my classroom, students must commit to a level of performance that challenges them to reach their full potential. My expectations of my students are high yet reasonable, and by the end of the school year students realize that they can achieve the academical goals set before them and apply it to their lives beyond the classroom.
