After earning a BS in Statistics from UCSB, I worked as a substitute teacher for a year at a private school in Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara Christian School). Motivated by that positive experience, I obtained a teaching credential in Mathematics Secondary Education from UCSB, graduating as Student Teacher of the Year. I had the opportunity to teach High School in Oxnard and Middle School at Carpinteria Middle School, after receiving my credential. I usually start the class with the basic introduction of the subject or course; its main objectives and what the students should expect to learn and be able to apply in actual situations after the semester. Then the lecture time follows where we explore the particular topics which have been assigned to them earlier in the week.
