I am a very understanding and considerate person and my teaching style reflects that. I have been counseling a week-long church camp in southern California for the past 5 years now and I absolutely love doing it. The ages are 9-12 and I look forward to it every year. I think that kids light up life and make it interesting. That's why I love working with them. I love the intellectual stimulation of the older age groups and the academic challenge they present. A strength on which I have always prided myself is my ability to relate complex concepts with useful analogies and from different angles. I never underestimate a child's ability to learn something, so long as it's in a way in which they understand it. Curriculum development is also important.
