Experience Summary
As an MBA student, I constantly had to conduct research in challenging fields, write reports, train others and make appropriate recommendations. I have particularly enjoyed carrying on tasks that required teaching others, presenting personal research and challenging specific teaching styles.
As a substitute teacher, I have developed my teaching skills and became able to adapt to the different educational level, schools, communities etc.
From my professional experience, I learned to be a team leader, to focus on the delegated task, to prioritize and to reward results.
Teaching Style
I am a parent and I understand that educating our children is a priority. Although challenging, I particularly enjoy working with children, teaching them as well as learning from them.
I believe that what makes me a good teacher is my ability to listen, understand a child's outlook on things and my constant focus on challenging traditional teaching styles. I am a believer in visualizing the everyday subject, and I always give memorable examples related to our learning material. Also, I understand that every child's capabilities are different and it is only a matter of adapting to their level of understanding and providing a constructive approach. I like to involve all students in classroom activities, delegate tasks and reward good results. I also share personal experiences from my academic and professional career.
At the end of the day, knowing that I made a difference in someone's life must be the most important reward of them all.
