I think teaching style should revolve around the needs of the student. The last person I tutored, I created worksheets and practical exercises that served to help him learn the material. Worksheets worked well since he was studying for a final exam. The music videos and lyrics I told him to watch and read, were all meant to reinforce the grammatical lesson.
