During my time as Head Tutor at UNCA, regardless of department, I tutored over 200 students in mathematics and physics. Of those students, at least 80% saw an increase of at least one letter grade and at least 20% saw an increase by two letter grades. Many students I tutored in one subject came back to be for tutoring in the other. For many of my students I served as an invaluable mentor who guided them from their earliest days as a college freshman to the day the walked across the stage and earned their degree. Over the past five years, I have helped more than 100 students gain admission to their dream colleges and have averaged a score increase of approximately 260 points for the SAT and 6.5 points for the ACT.
