Experience Summary
Education is the central focus of my everyday life. I have obtained a BS in Management-Health Care/HR and 5 Associate degrees in Business Administration, Administrative Office Technology, Medical Office Technology, Legal Secretary, and College Transfer. I have been homeschooling my son since 2006 and mentoring students through a local church for just as long. In addition, I tutored in 1990-1991 and 1994-1997 while in college to earn extra money. I have assisted students with Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and Mental Health issues. I have published my own poetry and have written a novel which I will publish soon. I am very well-spoken and do well correcting grammatical and spelling errors of students.
Teaching Style
I have a natural passion for educating youth of all ages and find joy in helping them succeed. No child is unreachable when it comes to connecting with them. The only true difficulty may be finding their learning style. Teaching is easy when you know your audience. Our country has put our youth in a state of desperation with regard to their level of education, desire to obtain higher levels of education, and the ability to compete internationally. I want to be a part of the solution in reaching our youth and reassuring them that they can still be and achieve anything they seek.
