I have taken teaching as my profession. As a parent I love to help the young ones achieve their goals. I feel delighted when I see my students excel in life. I began 'teaching' as the head wakeboarding instructor at Coble Ski School in Lillington, NC, when I was a junior in high school. Shortly thereafter I took a position working at a beach resort in Pensacola, FL, where I spent an entire summer instructing surfing, kayaking and sailing. Since I am an engineering student, I have always been interested and excelled in math and science, so I have tutored many kids in all areas of science and mathematics. I have also tutored in Spanish and French. Last year, I worked with a young man who had dyslexia. I have helped kids of all ages, whether at the elementary, high school, or collegiate level.
I am a very patient person, a trait which I believe is very beneficial for a tutor to possess. I am always patient when teaching, and in doing so have succeeded in getting my point across.
