I believe that all children can learn and all children are capable of learning. But, all students learn differently, so, I feel that by changing lessons and incorporating different things into each one to accomodate most, or all, students is necessary. When children are able to learn and gain experiences on their own, with little or no teacher intervention, they learn at their best. By doing fun activities, children are able to gain and retain knowledge better. I enjoy teaching and interacting with children. I believe every child possesses the potential to learn anything. All they have to do is work for that knowledge. Rather than tell the student the answer, I find a way to allow the student to discover the answer him or herself. One way how I do this is by asking the pupil smaller leading questions in order to put the pieces of the bigger picture together. I firmly believe that if the student derives the answer by himself or herself, he or she will have a greater understanding of the solution than if they were simply told the answer.
