My "teaching style" changes depending on the needs of my students. I would describe my teaching style in terms of the activity, belaying. Slack is given to the rope at times so that the climber may advance, or traverse, the face of the mountain. When the climber feels tired, or incapable, the rope needs tightening so the climber stays secure.
