During my graduate career, I taught six semesters of biology to non-science majors. Through this experience, I have developed teaching methods to attempt to reach students with a myriad of different learning styles. I truly believe that all students are teachable so long as the teachers are willing to continually assess the methods that work best at an individual level. I recently graduated from the College of Charleston with a MS in Environmental Studies. My educational emphasis was in plant ecology, which provided me with experience in botany, geology, and ecology. Furthermore, I specialized in statistical analysis of biological data.
