Taught to every age! I was in Europe for 9 years and opened my own American English School. Taught every level from pre-school to Engineers. Also translated and wrote policies and procedures for the European Union REACH program. Taught 3d and 4th grade in Germany. One example: taught English to German elemantary students using the game of baseball to learn new words. My oldest student was 79 years young! The youngest was 4.
Motivation is first. Find out what students skills are and add what they like to encourage learning. Games are always good to encourage all ages to learn. Repetition! Once their grades improve their self confidence will too. Lots of heart and patience!

ADD/ADHD is one of my top subjects! I have 26 years of experience teaching in Special Education, all levels, from pre-K through high school. I have an extensive knowledge of skills and methods that will help any student with ADD/ADHD experience success. I am also fluent in Spanish. I am calm, and have enormous patience. I have a solid knowledge of most subject areas. Working one on one with students who experience difficulties in a classroom is my area of expertise.

I am a special education teacher with 26 years experience in all levels from pre-K through high school. I am fluent in Spanish, and serve as a translator for my school district. I have certification in Irlen screening, a method which greatly helps people who are dyslexic. I have taught ESL to adults,and translated all core subject areas for students, including science.
