A Little Bit About Me...

I feel my calling is working with children. My experience volunteering as a youth basketball and baseball coach has showed me that a child’s ability to learn is unlimited. I also believe that children can reach their full potential when placed in the right surrounding and with the right motivation. As an inner city youth coach, I strive to make a difference in all of my kids’ lives as players and as students.
After graduated with a BS in Agriculture Economics from Alcorn State University in May 2000, I have worked as an Agricultural Statistician for the National Agricultural Statistics Service. While working with NASS, I have taking a creative writing class to improve my writing ability. I have also taking Calculus I, II, and III to build on my math skills. As stated above, I love working with children and helping them succeed to the level I am currently at. I love the children in my community no matter what age or grade, I enjoy seeing progress reports and report cards.
