A Little Bit About Me...

My 20+ years of working have given me the opportunity to gain experience in the following industries: public accounting, non-profit education, telecommunications, legal and banking. Some of the skills that I have acquired include: general accounting, auditing and taxes, budgeting, financial analyses and financial modeling. I also have directed my church choir for the past 20 years.
Even though teaching is not my profession, I enjoy working with individuals and seeing them learn new concepts. I am easy going, calm and patient. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and create a desire to learn more. All students can learn if given the proper tools and environment.

I feel my calling is working with children. My experience volunteering as a youth basketball and baseball coach has showed me that a child’s ability to learn is unlimited. I also believe that children can reach their full potential when placed in the right surrounding and with the right motivation. As a current graduate student, studying Elementary Education, I am very determined to make a difference in the lives of people everyaday through education.
