Although I have a BS in Elementary Education, my experience ranges from preschool to high school. I have over two years’ experience teaching preschoolers basic reading and math skills. I have seven years’ experience teaching elementary school, where I have taught many children the fundamentals of reading, writing, and arithmetic. While teaching, I tutored several students that needed help with reading, each session ending with tremendous results. In my three years of teaching middle school and high school, I taught math and history. In addition, I taught my students how to write research papers. During my three years of formal tutoring, I was able to change my tutoring styles to fit the needs of the student. Everyone learns differently and it is important to realize and adjust my tutoring accordingly.
During the last three years of my undergraduate college career, I was a Mathematics tutor for student athletes. Although the courses covered while tutoring ranged from basic math to calculus, I am more comfotable tutoring algebra and geometry. I earned my BA with a double major in Mathematics and Russian in just four years. After college, I helped my sister and step-sister with their math and math-related physcis problems.
