I enjoy helping others learn. It is a compliment when someone asks for your help. After tutoring and substitute teaching for about 2 years, I have learned that students comprehend material in many different ways. I am able to sit down with each student and ask them how THEY comprehend the material. I then make it to where they are the tutor and teaching me how to learn, however I do teach them the material. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always worked well with children because I enjoy their capacity to learn. I am drawn to students who feel they are incapable of excelling in subject areas in which they struggle. I also have a gift of working with students who have behavioral challenges and/or special needs to due to a disability. My AA in Early Childhood helped me to understand how the brain develops and how people learn and how to utilize the stages of development in educating people.
