A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one that is student centered. When I first meet a child, my priority becomes to learn what teaching style best fits them. I do this through the use of Howard Gardener's Multiple Intelligences. I hold high expectations for all students and reward effort. I am strict, but also fair and kind. I believe that every child is different and should be treated as such.
I have been tutoring and teaching children since high school in my Teacher's Academy class at Lakota East High School. I then went on to study Education at the University of Dayton and graduated in May of 2013 with a degree and teaching lisence. In the fall I will be employed with Dayton Public Schools. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned my B.S. in Business Administration, studying many different courses. During my undergrad years, I was able to tutor graduate and undergraduate in their areas of weakness. These subjects included Financial Accounting, Micro and Macroeconomics, Literature, and many more. I have been able to teach them but also learn from them. Being a good tutor means being able to understand the ways the student learns. I am passionate about helping others and I will continue to be while pursuing my own dreams.
