I have been tutoring and teaching children since high school in my Teacher's Academy class at Lakota East High School. I then went on to study Education at the University of Dayton and graduated in May of 2013 with a degree and teaching lisence. In the fall I will be employed with Dayton Public Schools. I have had experience with both elementary school children and middle school children both in and outside of the classroom. I did my student teaching in a 7th grade Social Studies classroom. I have also volunteered in South Dakota on a Native American Reservation as a week long tutor for Native American children.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that children will learn better with their own interests in mind. While I was tutoring History, it helped the child understand the concepts of the battles of the Civil War easier when I showed a map and used plastic army men. While tutoring Math, the student understood the concepts of fractions better if I used measuring cups for simple fractions.
As a graduate of Wright State University, I was taught to be motivated to achieve the goals which each class helped me achieve. I have earned a bachelor degree in History. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned my B.S. in Business Administration, studying many different courses. During my undergrad years, I was able to tutor graduate and undergraduate in their areas of weakness.
