I was a finance major for most of college before switching to management middle of junior year. Currently I work for a financial planning company in town as a financial representative. I am looking to tutor as a way to pick up some extra income and grow in my teaching skills. I always liked playing up my quirky personality. My favorite teachers and professors were the goofy ones, the ones who can relate to the students' fun side. These teachers also challenged me the most, and I ended up getting so much more out of the course. I figure that, if a student likes the teacher, he or she will pay more attention and have a deeper respect for the teacher.
