Experience Summary
In the field of education, I have over 3 formal years of teaching experience as well as mentoring and one on one teaching basic computer skills in the corporate setting. I hold a Masters in Instructional Technology, 18 graduate hours in Curriculum and Instruction and a Texas teacher certification in Business grades 6-12. During classroom instruction, I have mentored in various subjects including Accounting, English, Algebra, and Reading. From my strong educational background, I have gained extensive grammatical skills in essay development and research.
Teaching Style
I have a passion to teach and enjoy children. I understand that all children learn using various learning styles. In an effort to help a child, I must gain insight on the child’s challenge to learning, then cerate real world relevancy to help grasp concepts. I believe all students are able to utilize and discover their full potential to learn if given the appropriate environment and caring instructor.
