My comments on tutoring Calculus II : Received a B in my freshman year at University of Arizona.

I prefer to work one on one if possible, however up to a group of 5 is perfectly fine, because competitions can be made to help improve academically. Also kids/people learn best after making mistake or watching others make mistakes. I am an incredibly persistent guy and will spend whatever time it takes, with no extra charge, to ensure someone passes a class with an A. I have very reliable text books that I use to teach, however I know kids, despise using them so I turn the text into a more practical learning tool.
This is not very professional sounding, however I have helped all of my friends pass classes with As or Bs from 7th grade all the way to the end of high school. I never charged them. I am very patient and detailed teacher. I go step by step when trying to teach a child how to do something. I don't skip steps. If they still don't understand, I don't go on to the next part of the lesson. I make sure they know and understand how to do the first part before I go onto the second part. Also I make things as simple as possible, complexing a subject doesn't do any good when it comes to teaching.
